Law Turns Hand to BBC Commentary

Anyone who has been watching the BBC’s coverage of The Artois Championships over the past decade will no doubt have seen David Law taking the players over to the backdrop at the side of the court for the live post-match television interview.

Today, during the doubles final at The Queen’s Club, the Artois Championships communications manager became the one doing the talking as he single-handedly provided ball-by-ball commentary live on television.

“It was a fabulous experience and the perfect end to a fabulous week” said Law, who has been a regular on BBC Radio 5 Live’s commentary team at Grand Slam events. “I had the opportunity to do two of my favourite things – talk and watch tennis.”
