Schedule Change Sees Junior Championships Set for Finals Day History

For the first time in the history of the Artois Championships,
the final of the Junior Championships will this year be played during
finals day on Centre Court prior to the Men's Singles final.
The change to the schedule means the gates on Sunday, June 17 will
be open to Centre Court ticket holders from 10.30 am, with the finalists
of the Junior Championships entering court at 11.00 am. The Junior
Championships final will then be followed by the Men's Singles final
at 2.00 pm and then the Men's Doubles final.
The Junior Championships, which will include Australian Open junior
champion Brydan Klein among the 16 competitors, is an invitation
event for players aged under 18 as of January 1, 2007. Previous
winners of the Junior Championships include former World doubles
No. 1 Leander Paes (1991), double Olympic gold medallist Nicolas
Massu (1997) and current World No. 21 Jarkko Nieminen (1999). Last
year's winner was Britain's Iain Atkinson.
Finals Day Schedule: Sunday, June 17, 2007
10.30 am - Gates Open (Centre Court ticket holders only)
11.00 am - Junior Championships Final (Players on Centre Court)
11.15 am - Junior Championships Final begins
2.00 pm - Artois Championships Men's Singles Final
Followed By - Artois Championships Men's Doubles Final
