Bob & Mike Bryan

Top seeds Bob and Mike Bryan reached the doubles final of the Artois Championships for the fourth time after defeating defending champions Paul Hanley and Kevin Ullyett 7-6(5), 7-6(5) at The Queen’s Club.

The Americans, who won the title in 2001, 2004 and 2005, will have to wait until tomorrow to find out who they will be playing against in the final, with French Open champions Mark Knowles and Daniel Nestor yet to start their semifinal against second seeds Jonas Bjorkman and Max Mirnyi.

Knowles and Nestor, the No. 4 seeds, had not played a match at this year’s Artois Championships until after 7.00 pm on Saturday, when they finally got their campaign underway with a 7-6(3), 7-6(3) victory over singles finalist Nicolas Mahut and his French partner Julien Benneteau.

The 2003 Artois champions stayed on court and booked their place in the semifinals with an entertaining 6-1, 6-4 victory over Tim Henman and Lleyton Hewitt.
